Emmett Lane is FIVE MONTHS OLD! Oh my goshhh! I just can't believe it! Big man is growing like a weed. He seems to be getting longer faster than he's getting fatter. I love dressing a little boy and watching him grow. It's so fun to see him get bigger and learn new things.

 

Em is still chewing everything & drooling so much but still no sign of a tooth! He babbles all the time! I can't wait to hear him say "Mama." So far it's just random noises.

 

 

 We've been volunteering at our church's pumpkin patch in the craft room! Every Thursday and Friday the kids and I load up and help all of the preschoolers and kindergarteners make scarecrow puppets. Emmett is so good! He watches all the kids and usually falls asleep in his Ergo carrier.. Which, by the way, is a must have! Big guy uses the Ergo every time we go anywhere at all.

 

My sweet little man loves being silly! He laughs all the time.. at the dog, at his sissy, at mommy, at daddy.. I've even caught him laughing at the TV. He's also such a wiggle worm, sitting still just isn't an option. And if he's not looking out at what's going on, he's not happy.

 

Another big milestone this month.. Karleigh has quit hitting! This is huge! The first few months after Em arrived his sissy was a hitter.. she hit mommy, daddy, bubby, the dog, and she threw toys... It was awful! I think now that Emmett is interacting more with her and laughing at her and grabbing at her (even pulling her hair) she's starting to get over it. Now she brings Emmett toys while he plays on the floor. -Which by the way we're really working on!-

 

We took a little trip to the corn maze this month with Emmett's & Karleigh's Gigi! He napped/nursed in the Ergo most of the time but it was fun to get out as a family and do new things. We got lost, of course.. until mommy took over using the map.
