30 days of thanks!

6:56 AM

Every month I'm thankful to God for so many things but I don't think I give him the thanks his many creations deserve so this month I'm going to be thankful for one thing each day!

Day 1. I'm thankful for my sweet nephew. We got to spend the weekend with this little man and bond with him! It was such a wonderful time. I absolutely love seeing him and Emmett together and can't wait to watch their relationship develop over the next few years. Such sweet boys!

Day 2. I'm thankful for AUBURN FOOTBALL! WARRR EAGLE! Saturday is a big day in the Reeder house. We take football seriously.

Day 3. I'm thankful for my Amazing Husband who happens to also be my best friend. For the last seven years he's been the rock that's kept me grounded and the wings that have help me fly. I love him more than I can possibly put into words. My life wouldn't be complete without the man. He's such an amazing provider for our family and tends to our needs before his own. He's the most wonderful father I could have ever imagined my kids to have & he's teaching them to be Godly people. -Everything I have prayed for in a man.-

Day 4. I'm thankful for my sweet daughter. She made me a Mommy. She teaches me to be patient and loving and funny. She shows me that life can be silly and everything doesn't always go as planned. The day she was born, my life changed forever. She's turned my life upside down and saved me. She's the very reason I gave my life back to God. How can you look into the innocence of a baby's eyes and not believe that there is so much more than our selfishness. She's my best friend, my side kick, my little girl. <3

Day 5. I'm thankful for my Son Shine. What a blessing my little Emmett Lane has been. Since finding out that we were pregnant with him, he's felt real to me... like the last piece to a beautiful puzzle. I'm so thrilled to look at him and see myself. He's my mini me. He's the happiest baby, as long as I'm around. I've never felt a love that bonding. He truly needs me, and is attached like I've never seen. He needs to be touching or seeing me at most every moment of the day, and while that's not ideal, it's flattering. He's the cement that bonds our family together and keeps us counting our blessings. <3

Day 6. I'm thankful for family. Without my family we wouldn't be where we are today. They're so supportive of every decision we could make and are constantly there for us. We're so blessed to have such wonderful people to share our babies with. It's so wonderful to be able to leave our babies and know that they're getting the absolute best care possible. I take for granted how amazing my family is, and I need to think about that more. They truly are beautiful, wonderful people who would do absolutely anything for myself or my family.

Day 7. I'm thankful for Justin's job. Because my sweet husband works so hard at his job he's able to provide a very nice life for us. His hard work makes it possible for me to be home with our little ones. I'm so glad he loves his work and the wonderful people that he sees everyday. I'm thankful that they're encouraging and he has room to grow with the company.

Day 8. I'm thankful for my camera. My camera is like my third child. It's always there for me, helping me to capture the most important memories. I'm so happy that I have some of the images I've capture over the years. Each time I see them I relive the incredible memories from that day. It's helped me to preserve the most precious moments of my life.. my husband and I's years together, our daughter's birth and life and our son's birth and life and a million moments in between. I wish I could kiss the inventor of the camera.

Day 9. I'm thankful for breastfeeding. I have breastfed both of my kids. (my daughter for 6 months and my son for 5.. so far) The bond from breastfeeding is unlike anything I've ever felt. I love that feeling of being the only one that can fully care for my kids. They're my everything and I'm giving them the best thing I possibly can. Also, it's incredibly nice to not have bottles to wash or make. ;)

Day 10. I'm thankful for my iphone. My iPhone has kept me in touch with the most beautiful people. I've met so many moms through instagram that have become some of my most dear friends. It reminds meof important things, keeps up with appointments, helps me capture moments quickly, and I can use it to share pictures and videos of my growing kids with all of our family and friends. It's a blessing to be able to keep in contact with so many people, so easily.

Day 11. I'm thankful for my Ford Fusion. I love my car. Justin, so graciously. got me this brand new car so that the kids and I have a safe, reliable vehicle to get us from point A to point B. My car gets great gas mileage, which makes visiting family a bit farther away a lot easier and vacations a little less costly. It's definitely a blessing to have a new vehicle that I don't have to worry about.

Day 12. I'm thankful for our Church, St. Mark UMC. Our church is like our second family. We look forward to Sundays and Wednesdays! And it fives us a better grip on our week. Having our church family keeps us strong in our faith and they're such a huge support in our walk with Christ. Our church is more than just a place to hear a sermon... They truly care about our family. They've help us more than I can put into words. The Lord led us to them & I'm eternally grateful. My faith is stronger than it has ever been and our St. Mark family has helped get me to this point.

Day 13. I'm thankful for friends. I've had so many people walk in and out of my life, but a select group has stuck around. I'm so grateful for them. Some have even become "family". There are just so many that have helped shape me into the person I am today. Having friends to share these crazy moments with is a blessing. I'm grateful for each and everyone of my friends.

Day 14. I'm thankful for my mom friends. I have SEVERAL mommy friends. These are the ladies that know what I'm going through at this HUGE milestone of my life. They're there to share the laughs and the tears. They don't judge my style of parenting and some have even influenced it! It's such a blessing to see things from several point of views and to learn knew things or learn from other's experiences. I'm so grateful for each of my mommy friends and I hope I've been just as much support to them as they've been to me.

Day 15. I'm thankful for video. Some of my most favorite moments with my kids have been caught on video! WHAT A BLESSING! I get to relive those moments, step by step! My kid's firsts, silly moments, laughs... It's all their, for me to watch at the press of a button. Some nights I go through my videos and just soak in the fact that I have to brilliant kids that I would do anything for. I'm so grateful to be able to cherish our lives through video.

Day 16. I'm thankful for my parents. My parents and the most amazing set of people. Although we don't always see eye to eye, they're supportive of all of my decisions. They're the greatest grandparents to my kids, I know when I leave my kids with them there's no need to worry. My mom is there for me for EVERY moment, and my Dad would do anything for me. I hope Justin and I can be as loving and caring as my parents are. <3 I'm grateful for my wonderful parents.

Day 17. I'm thankful for Amazon. With two kids under the age of two, shopping is a bit difficult. If it wasn't for Amazon, we would go without a few things. I love being able to order gifts or things we need while the kids are napping. It's such a great convenience. Not to mention, Amazon has some of the best prices, so we save tons of money by using them to purchase gifts or baby items. I'm grateful for online shopping with Amazon.

Day 18. I'm thankful for flowers. My husband can be a romantic sometimes and bring me home flowers. It's such a timeless, sweet gesture of love. There is nothing better than fresh flowers as the table's center piece. Beautiful, bright and of course, they smell wonderful. I'm grateful for the beauty of flowers.

Day 19. I'm thankful for my "in laws". My husband's family are so much more than my "in laws." They might as well be blood. My mother in law is such a wonderful support to our family, I know she would do anything to see us succeed and I appreciate that more than she could ever know. And his Mawmaw, she's such a beautiful soul that I'm blessed to be able to call family. His brothers are the incredible, they're amazing uncle's to our kids.. and treat me just like I was born their sister. Even his extended family has always just taken me in as their own.. I'm beyond grateful to have them in our lives.

Day 20. I'm thankful for paint. My daughter and I love to paint. I'm not very good at it, but we both enjoy it. It's such a stress relief for me and a creativity outlet that helps me to just let loose. It's beautiful. I love to be able to make memories with my daughter while letting her be free. There are so many right and wrongs in her world, it's nice to just let her go with this. I'm grateful for the joy painting brings.

Day 21. I'm thankful for pinterest. Pinterest is one of my most amazing inspirations. Cooking, crafting, designing, style, home décor... you name it, it has inspiration. Some of our favorite recipes are from pinterest! Both of my kid's rooms are pinterest inspired and tons of my best ideas for photography can be blamed on Pinterest. It's a great community of wonderful ideas! I'm grateful for all of the inspirations pinterest brings.

Day 22. I'm thankful for Fridays! Friday means payday.. which means grocery day! Some people hate grocery shopping, and with two kids.. I probably should be one of them... but we LOVE it. It's so fun to bring the kids shopping and to show Karleigh different foods and use it as a learning experience. Friday is the end of the week and means Daddy only has ONE more day of work until we rest on Sunday. The kids and I always try to have some kind of adventure to end our week. I'm grateful for Fridays.
