Weekend of fun.

Since Daddy was working on Saturday it was up to me to bring all three kids on an adventure after Karleigh's ballet class.
I'm not going to lie, when we first brought Leighton home if you would have mentioned me bringing all three kids out on my own I probably would have cried. But now, it's just our life. 95% of the time it's not an issue. Leighton is such a good baby, she sleeps most of the day and hardly ever makes a peep.
Well after ballet we made a picnic and headed off to the park! The kids had such a great time eating outside and enjoying the light breeze. It was a beautiful day. We looked for ducks and chased each other. It was such a fun time.
After our picnic we headed to the fire department for a friend's birthday party! {HAPPY THIRD BIRTHDAY ETHAN!} The kids had so much fun playing with their friends and exploring the fire station. Leighton, of course, slept the entire time like a little angel. (I couldn't have asked for an easier baby) Emmett was so excited he got to spray the fire hose and get on the fire truck.
It was such a fun day with minimal melt downs and lots laughs. Definitely not worth any of the anxiety I ever felt about bringing all three out by myself.
Sunday's are my favorite days! Justin is off and it's our family day! This particular Sunday was spent relaxing together and cuddling before we set off to the mullet festival. Leighton was, yet again, a doll. She slept in the ergo the entire time and woke only for a quick nursing session. {dream baby}
Karleigh and Emmett were so much fun. We took them to the death traps, I mean carnival rides... They had a blast. We walked around and ate greasy food and ice cream.. Everyone had a great time..
What made it even better was getting to spend the day with both of our moms as well.. It happened to be my moms birthday! (Which we will be celebrating for real this week!)
My favorite part of the day though, was coming home and listening to our giggle monsters play together. Cuddling with my favorite person in the entire world and watching our fall TV shows. I'm blessed beyond words to be married to Justin. He's everything.
