Good Bye 2013, Hello 2014.
3:14 PM2013 was an absolutely wonderful year for my family. I can happily say we had far more ups than downs. We celebrated many happy occasions, moved and accomplished many of our goals. I can't thank the Lord enough for his many blessings through out the year.
Karleigh celebrated her FIRST birthday. What a joyous occasion! I planned her party for months and we did some many special things and started a few family traditions that I can't wait to continue each year, like rainbow pancakes and balloons covering her room! We celebrated with our family and had a big sunshine party for our sweet sunshine!

We welcomed our beautiful baby boy into the world! It was one of the best days of my entire life. It was a perfect moment in time that I relive quite often. I will forever remember holding him for the first moments of his life and looking into his big blue eyes. It was such a happy moment that is burnt into my brain for all of eternity. Then watching Karleigh give him a kiss just an hour later made my heart double in size. (His Birth Story)
Our sweet family moved across town! We found another house that we thought would better suite our needs.. Boy were we wrong. We do love this house, but we are moving on the tenth of January to a home that's a better size and location for our family. It also will have less issues.
We celebrated many firsts with our kids! First laughs, first Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas. First sentences, first steps, first breaths.. I'm so blessed to be able to be there for every first moment my kids have.
Justin & I got to attend a Carolina Panthers game in New Orleans and sit club level. It was so much fun, but New Orleans just isn't for either of us. It was a special trip though, spending the quality time together.
We had some rough moments in our families that have hurt my heart, but it's only made our little family grow stronger together.
What a beautiful year! Looking back makes me tear up. We've built such an amazing life together, but we're still finding ourselves. My kids teach me new things about myself everyday. They've helped us grow not only separately, but also together. I know that this new year will bring knew firsts and lots of wonderful memories.
