Emmett Lane is SIX months!

Emmett's first Halloween was this month! Our family really loves Batman.. So both him & Karleigh we BatBaby & BatGirl! He was ADORABLE. We walked around our friend's neighborhood and Emmett sat in the double stroller next to his little friend, Leander. Big man got hungry half way through so he spent the remainder of the little trip being held.. stinker. He's not used to being in a stroller.. so I don't know what I expected. He's an Ergo baby!

We've really been working on unsupported sitting this month! Emme is doing GREAT! He's just about there! It's incredible to me that just a month ago he couldn't sit up without the help of his bumbo seat.

Of course I have documented his growth via pictures. He doesn't move so he's so easy to get great pictures of. If he's anything like sissy the moment he figure out he can move, he'll be off and the pictures will be a blur

Karleigh loves Emmett so much! She plays with him and brings him toys and kisses him.. it's a joy to watch. Every day my heart swells a little more for these two.

We spent a lot of time with our family this month! It was wonderful! This day we baked cookies and spent the entire day at Nana's house! We even decorated her tree!!

He's such a happy baby... as long as mommy is in sight.. otherwise, he has this gut wrenching scream that makes me want to rip my ear drums out. He's most defiantly a Mama's Boy. We're still having no luck with tummy time.. It's absolutely ridiculous when you put him on his stomach. He screams and cries. I've talked to his Doctor about it and he doesn't see any reason to worry. So I'm letting it go, we still work on tummy time every day but I'm not as worried.. He'll probably just walk before he ever learns to crawl.

Well this month we celebrated Emmett's FIRST Thanksgiving! It was on the day he turned 6 months. I just can't believe it's been half a year since I brought this little man into the world. We celebrated by giving big guy some homemade sweet potatoes! He loved them. We spent the first half of the day with the Holcomb's.. He got to see all of his family and was passed around and loved on by everyone. The second half of the day was spend with the Reeder's. Again, passed around and loved on as much as possible. He's such a loved little man.. we are so blessed and thankful for the love and support our dearest friends and family shows us.
