9 months has flown by! Just 3 more months until my little man is one!!!

A few big things Emmett Lane has done this month are
   *got 2 more teeth (He has 4 now!)
   *started to not hate tummy time -as much-
   *really eats solids 3-4 times a day;
     blueberries are his favorite
   *started scooting on his butt
   *manipulates mommy so she'll hold him
     all day long.
   *celebrated valentines day! [his first]
   *took his [first] ride on the swing
   *went to the zoo for the [first] time
   *started pulling up on shorter things [first]

It has been absolutely amazing to watch my baby boy grow and develop! -blessing- Although he's not always joyful, his is always a joy. He's turning into such a happy little boy.


At the beginning of February we wen to Alabama to celebrate Uncle Austin's 19th Birthday with him and all of our Reeder family. It was so nice to see family and relax.





We celebrated his [first] Valentine's day this month! We ate pink food and laughed and loved. -really it was a normal day in the Reeder House- I brought back the excessive kisses idea for pictures of my littlest sweetheart.

 

We celebrated his belly brother's birthday this month. Leander turned one! Next up is Emmett. Just three more months! -let the planning begin.- Leander and Emmett are hilarious together. Leander is rough and Emmett is such a ... baby. He's going to toughen Em up.. that's for sure.

 
 
 Pappy took Emmett and Karleigh and I to the zoo while Daddy worked. More on that here!

Karleigh and Emmett are more interactive every month. The bigger and more durable Emmett gets, the more appealing he is to our little monster, Karleigh. She can be such a sweet girl and share and hug and kiss him.. but other times, she can be just mean and hit and steal toys.. He's going to get her back when he's older.. I just know it.

Bathtime is now Emmett's favorite time. Once we got rid of the baby bath tub he's really started enjoying it. Him and Karleigh take baths together and play nicely for the most part.

I'm officially Mama and Daddy is Dadda. I love Emmett's little voice. It's precious. He babbles all day and knows lots of different sounds.

Next month will be another exciting one in our home. We have lots of  fun planned and great opportunities for our family! I'm looking forward to all the wonderful things to come!
