You&Me + Three!

The female body was created to do great things, such as create & birth tiny humans. We've decided to let my body do what it was created to do and not be induced (for at least 42+ weeks). No epi, no drugs. And I have no fear for childbirth, I welcome the muscle contractions. I can't wait to have a totally different experience this time around. 

So for the next few days/weeks I'll be patiently waiting for my hard headed son to decide to come out. Until then, I'll keep walking & eating pineapple & taking EPO.

Example, at bed time my daughter lays down without a fight at all. Sometimes she wakes up whining not long after she falls asleep or just as she's drifting off. My husband USED to tell me to just let her whine & she'll fall asleep. I, however, am a Mom. My instincts tell me to check on my baby.. Turns out her binky falls out or she loses her favorite blankie or she needs a 2 second hug from Mama. Then she lays right back down & falls asleep. Who am I to deny my child of these things? What an easy fix. She's gotten into the habit of waking up at 4-5am and saying "MOM" to which I always respond... I go get her out of her crib & bring her to my bed where she cuddles with me until 8am. I love it.

Personally, I don't understand spanking. You don't get spank when you make a mistake because that's considered abuse.. So why would I spank my daughter for testing the boundaries and exploring. I'm not a fan of any violent behavior. My way of being consistent an explaining why she can't do or have something might take a little longer to sink in, but she now has an understanding.. And if she's upset, I comfort her. She's still so new to this world & can't know everything immediately, I'm her mom.. I'm here to guide her & teach her to be a good person. 

My husband & I have been criticized, I realize our way isn't popular with everyone but I won't let peer pressure or someone else's opinion change mine. We're confidently raising our tiny humans to be a good people. We have fun every single day, we're creative, we're happy. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
