October festivities

October,

What a busy month! It started off perfect. Karleigh is a healthy SEVEN MONTHS OLD. And we got to see baby # 2 for the first time! It was a magical moment that we’ll never ever forget! It made me so happy that we got to have Karleigh there to share the joy. Both my babies have healthy strong hearts. Baby # 2 was only 5w5d along so we only got to see the heart flicker, but that was good enough for me!

Later in the month we got to take Karleigh to her very first pumpkin patch at our church! She was facinated but oh so tired so it was a short trip. The pictures of her and her BFF, Bennett, are priceless though and they’ll enjoy them when they’re older.

We are so lucky we got to go back to the DR to see baby’s progress just two short weeks after the first appointment. All was well and baby was healthy and growing! THANKFUL.

We got to visit some family in Alabama this month! It’s always a nice treat to get away for a couple days and visit with family we don’t get to see very often! When we came home we got to celebrate Nana’s Birthday!

Mullet Festival was this month as well. You had so much fun walking around and listening to the music while mommy ate EVERYTHING. We even bought baby brother a football beanie. So Cute!

To wrap up this insanely busy month, we celebrated Karleigh’s first Halloween. I was DETERMINED she was going to be a duck. Ducks are cute and so is Karleigh. Who loves watching the ducks when we go on walks. Well, the day of Halloween we still didn’t have the duck costume! After trying a few stores we found THE PERFECT DUCK costume at KMART. And it was half off.. double score. We took Karleigh to the Trunk or treak at our church where her costume was, of course, a hit. J Then we got sushi and called it a night. I’m so tired all the time thanks to baby # 2.
